- Abstract
The article reports on Egyptian antiquities discovered by a team led by archaeologist Zahi Hawass at Saqqara. They include figurines dating back to the Third Intermediate Period, a New Kingdom chapel decorated with a scene showing the deceased offering to Osiris and Late Period coffins. The finds are said to indicate that the entire area of the Old Kingdom Teti Cemetery was re-used from the New Kingdom to the Roman Period.
