- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 34-year-old pregnant woman with cystic renal disease who is diagnosed with oral-facial-digital (OFD) syndrome type one. Her first pregnancy is complicated by hypertension, proteinuria, renal impairment and intrauterine growth retardation. She delivered a healthy baby through cesarean section. She has undergone corrective surgery for congenital cleft lip and palate that left scars. Her hypernasal speech including the examination of her facial features, hands and feet confirmed the diagnosis of the OFD syndrome.
