- Abstract
The article focuses on understanding of septic shock or acute circulatory failure in sepsis. Topics discussed include right ventricular (RV) dysfunction as common in patients with septic shock, circulatory failure in sepsis caused as result of a complex interaction of the circuit and the heart, and therapeutic interventions that aims at restoring stressed volume by administration of volume and vasopressors.
