- Abstract
The article discusses the study regarding the effect of mesoporous calcium-silicate nanoparticles functionalized with chlorhexidine on the cell proliferation and mineralization properties of Enterococcus faecalis. Topics discussed include the incorporation of mesoporous calcium-silicate nanoparticles and chlorhexidine by a mixing-coupling method, its antimicrobial activity against Enterococcus faecalis, and its low cytotoxicity.
