- Abstract
The article focuses on the development of a new remedy for the non-compliance of the rules created by the World Trade Organization (WTO). It mentions the traditional sanctions created by WTO for noncompliance and they include those that concern the act of piracy, intellectual property rights and retaliation. It examines the dispute resolution system of WTO and the objectives and mechanisms that are important for the sanction of noncompliance. Moreover, a portion of the essay discusses the role of the Dispute Settlement Body on the proposed approach for filling in some of the gaps of the system and reforms.
