- Abstract
Cerebrovascular disease (CVD) and Alzheimer's disease (AD) have several risk factors and neuropathological substrates in common, although the treatment strategies are different for the two conditions.1 Concurrent CVD is often present in aged individuals with AD,2 which makes it challenging to find a biomarker for the correct diagnosis of the resulting cognitive impairment. Therefore, they used a T SB 2 sb -relaxation-under-spin-tagging (TRUST) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique to measure global OEF.
