- Abstract
The article titled "Factors associated with the acceptability of the Human Papillomavirus vaccine" presents a study on the factors that influence the acceptance of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine by parents of girls under 9 years old in three populations in the Caribbean region of Colombia. A questionnaire was administered to 123 participants and it was found that 66.7% would vaccinate their daughters, although 30% are unaware of the usefulness of the vaccine. Additionally, the importance of improving education and addressing cultural barriers and access to healthcare that can affect vaccine acceptance in some communities is discussed. On the other hand, the article also addresses the topic of intraocular pressure and its relationship with physical activity, highlighting that weightlifting and maximum effort exercise can increase intraocular pressure, while aerobic exercises can decrease it.
