- Abstract
In WSNs (Wireless sensor network), the sensor nodes around sink nodes have faster energy consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to relocate sink nodes in order to prevent the surrounding sensor nodes from excessively consuming the energy thereof. On this basis, EASR (Energy-aware sink relocation) scheme is proposed in this article. EASR scheme aims at adaptively adjusting transmission range according to the energy condition of the sensor nodes and meanwhile establishing sink node relocation condition. Specifically, if the condition can be met, then the sink node is triggered to relocate and meanwhile select the best relocation direction according to the energy condition of the surrounding sensor nodes. Moreover, the simulation result shows that EASR scheme proposed in this article can effectively prolong network lifetime.
