- Abstract
The possibilities of the previously developed Calvert- Billingham model, intended for predicting the evaporation rate of stabilisers from polyolefins, have been expanded. The possibility of applying the improved model for predicting the kinetics of desorption of plasticisers from polyvinyl chloride has been substantiated, and also the extraction rate and migration rate of different ingredients from polymers differing in chemical nature. The possibility of exclusion from the equation of the model of calculated coefficients that require correction depending on the service conditions of the polymer has been substantiated.
