- Abstract
The article discusses the Tauopathies, a group of disorders in which the cytosolic protein tau aggregates and accumulates in brain cells resulting to neurodegeneration. It cites on the medical study for the treatment for tauopathies, the passive immunization with anti-tau antibodies. The article also discusses the dose-dependent increase in plasma tau in human patients with tauopathy and to mice expressing human tau in the central nervous system.
