- Abstract
The article offers information on a study based on the heart failure treatment by the help of Aldosterone antagonist therapy. It also focuses on the effectiveness and safety of the Aldosterone antagonist therapy in clinical practice patterns. As mentioned, the study used older patients hospitalized with heart failure and reduced ejection fraction. It says that the therapy improved heart failure readmission among eligible older patients. It also mentions of the developement of Comparative Effectiveness of Therapies for Heart Failure (COMPARE-HE) program using a national clinical registry for dealing with issues related to effectiveness and safety of the therapy.
