- Abstract
The article discusses a study which compared the results obtained with devices fabricated with a polymeric layer, synthesized via electrochemical polymerization, of 3'-bromo-4'-thienyl-2,2':5',2"-terthiophene and 3',4'-di-phenyl-2,2':5',2"-terthiophene. Their applications in the development of photovoltaic devices are also described. The effect of substituents of terthiophene compounds on the morphological characteristics and conductivity of the electrochemical deposit is also discussed.
