- Authors
Mayer, Andreas
- Abstract
The article examines the significance of psychoanalysis to history and philosophy of science based on John Forrester's axiom, which the author coined to refer psychoanalysis as a legitimate object for history and philosophy of science. It attempts to trace a distinctive development of psychoanalysis as a particular case within the human sciences with close relations to history, linguistics and philology.
