The article focuses on the fact that public relations writing needs multi-media approach. Schools of communication, rapidly supplanting the popularity of once-prominent schools of journalism, are confronted every day in every class with the difficult problem of how to teach effective writing skills to students who aspire to enter the commercial worlds of public relations or advertising. Therefore, the writing preparation required for the beginning student should not place students on a one-track route. Writing requirements for the advertising or public relations professional embrace virtually every area. Speech writing is also a major stock in trade for many advertising and public relations professionals.
