- Abstract
The article explores the history, constitutionality and methods of the death penalty in Indiana at both the federal level and state levels. Topics include the application of the death penalty and the cruel and unusual punishment by the U.S. Supreme Court, the standard length spent by an inmate on death row, and the current problem with the death penalty in Indiana including its lack of lethal injection drugs.
