- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 62-year-old woman who was suffering from upper abdominal pain that was characterized as diffused, dull, and intermittent. It was revealed through contrast-enhanced abdominal computed tomography (CT) that she has a large lobulated splenic mass with hypodense components. Meanwhile, fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/CT (FDG-PET/CT) was used in systemic tumor evaluation and showed that FDG accumulated more intense in the tumor's peripheral area.
