- Abstract
The article examines the evidence of arson and its significance in France in 1830. Information on the occurrence of several fires in the region from March 31 to April 9 is provided. It was believed that the fires were politically motivated. Vengeance was one of the causes of the fires. The fires indicated the economic and social crisis in the region.
