- Title
The End of Samson Agonistes.
- Authors
Snare, Gerald
- Abstract
The article discusses the implications of the theatrical production "Samson Agonistes," for issues of death. The author states that the manner of dying remains uninterpretable, something of little interest to the Supreme being, though of considerable interest to humans. The end of the play was viewed differently by critics. Some believe that Samson has committed suicide while there are few who argued that Samson fulfilled the prophecy at his birth.
