- Authors
Karlan, Pamela S.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act which is under attack and condemned as unconstitutional by conservative federal judges in Virginia and Florida. It states that the Acts's conservatism led to such constitutional assault, not its radicalism. It also highlights the Obamacare labelling of the act by critics since it seems the issue were the U.S. President Barack Obama rather than supplying adequate and cheap medical care. According to the author, the Act's conservatism led to such constitutional assault, and not its radicalism. The article also discusses what makes the Act a constitutional problem. Furthermore, it also mentions the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Afforable Care Act, and the Militia Act of 1792.
