- Abstract
The article presents a study on the changes of the structure of ribonuclease PhopRNA in the hyperthermophilic archeon Pyrococcus horikoshii OT3. The study used ultraviolet absorbance spectra and circular dichroism to characterize the activated structure of RNase P RNA in P. horikoshii OT3. The results showed that interaction of four RNase P proteins with PhopRNA results in destabilization of base stacking in PhopRNA.
