- Abstract
The article discusses the synthesis of structurally simplified analogs of kohamaic acid A. Kohamaic acid A is a potent DNA polymerase inhibitor which is isolated from the Okinawan marine sponge Ircinia sp. A series of structurally simplified analogs of the polymerase were synthesized to evaluate structure-activity relationship.
