- Abstract
The article presents a study that characterizes the genetic connection between the Gigantea (GI) and Pseudo-Response Regulator 5 (PRR5) genes that are implicated in the circadian clock of the Arabidopsis thaliana. It includes an in-depth analysis of the genetic link between PRR5 and GI in controlling the circadian oscillation of gene expression, as well as a discussion on the issues' implications for molecular microbiology.
