- Abstract
Chinese herbal medicine feed additives have the advantages of low cost and no pollution, which can effectively regulate the nutritional health and micro-ecological balance of aquatic animals. The article mainly introduces the main components and mechanisms of action of commonly used Chinese herbal medicines in aquaculture, as well as their applications in aquaculture. According to the characteristics of Chinese herbal medicines that can improve feed conversion rate, promote growth, improve aquatic product quality, enhance body resistance and improve water quality, the effects of different doses and types of Chinese herbal medicine additives on aquatic animals were explored, and the future research emphasis and development prospect of Chinese herbal medicines were prospected, which provided reference for the application of Chinese herbal medicines in aquaculture.
