- Abstract
Conceptual explanation of atomic force microscope‐based nanoscale 3D printing of quantum dots is given, specifically utilizing nanoscale nozzle (nanopipette) integrated with the quartz tuning fork‐based atomic force microscope. How these nanopipettes are incorporated into atomic force microscopy to enable the controlled ejection of liquid through a nanosized aperture on the substrate is explored and how this process forms the basis for fabricating 3D structures is studied.
