- Abstract
The article presents an introduction to a series of articles related to breast cancer screening published in the April 3, 2007 issue of the journal "Annals of Internal Medicine." One of them presents clinical practice guideline from the American College of Physicians (ACP) that advises clinicians on how to approach breast cancer screening decisions in women aged 40 and above. A review of benefits and potential harms of screening is also presented.
