- Abstract
Eighteen compounds were isolated from the 95% ethanol extract of the aerial parts of Debregeasia orientalis C J Chen for the first time. On the basis of spectral data or comparison with authentic samples, they were identified as palmitic acid (1), henicosanoic acid (2), henicosanoic acid methyl ester (3), β-sitosterol (4), monogynol A (5), betulinic acid (6), hederagenin (7), β-daucosterol (8), 18αH-urs-20(29)-en-3 -one (9),3,4-seco-urs-20(30)-en'3-oic acid (10), pomolic acid (11), (-) -epicatechin (12), ( + )-catechin (13), quercetin (14), quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucopyr-anoside (15), syringin (16), syringiaresinol digloside (17) and kaempferol 3-O-β-D-rutinose (18).
