- Abstract
To enhance the insecticidal effects of Stellera chamaejasme, and to improve the application of S. chamaejasme as botanical pesticide, the toxicity of the combination from the active fraction in the roots of S. chamaejasme' s extracts (LD) with nicotine oil emulsion (YJR) or/and CT-901A(Bz) on housefly and Petrbia harti Ewing was studied. The toxicity regression analysis, LC50 and regression equation were obtained by using EXCEL. The results showed that synergistic effects were observed in all combination of LD + Bz, LD + YJR and LD + Bz + YJR. Both the LC50 of 20:1:1 (LD:YJR:Bz) and 30:1:1 (LD:YJR:Bz) on housefly, and the LC50 of 20:1 (LD:Bz), 30:1 (LD:Bz), and 30:1:1 (LD: YJR:Bz) on Petrbia harti Ewing were 0.005 mg/L. The active fraction of S. chamaejasme' s roots extracts was separated by column chromatography, and the active compounds were determined to be flavonoids.
