- Abstract
The article offers a look on the importance of "Lean," the historically industrial process-improvement program focused on the Air Force uniform in the U.S. According to the authors, Lean is an especially important tool not only for the acquisition of new uniforms but also for the ongoing sustainment of existing uniforms, which both aspects involving many processes and agencies. Information about the background of Lean and its five principles is presented.
