- Abstract
The article reports on research which was conducted in China in an effort to understand the exchange process of energy and carbon dioxide in the soil-vegetation-atmosphere system, which is important for assessing of the terrestrial ecosystem in the global water and carbon cycle and in climate change. Researchers examined crop growth and presented a soil-vegetation-atmosphere integrated model for simulating energy, water and CO2 fluxes, and tested hypotheses of whether there is any significant differences between simulations over different time steps. Research results are discussed.
