- Abstract
Caring person for a good death, in community involves the acceptation of the impossibility of cure, humanizing the death across preservation of identity. Therefore, nurses, have the ethic and deontological duty of promote the right of choice by the person, of the place to die and the people who desire to accompany them, respecting and making respect the manifestations of loss, expressed by the person and family. From the elaborated narratives, in the curricular unit: Advanced Nursing, from the Nursing Master's degree, and taking by side the professional experience, arises the interest in explore the PICo question: Which are the nursing interventions that, in selfcare, empower person, in oncological process to a good death , in community? During the metasynthesis process, we selected two articles with qualitative nature, searched through data base, bringing together through evaluation instrument JBI - QARI, methodological quality criteria. Thereby, we emphasize that nursing intervention to empower the person for the self-care to a good death, in community involves specific strategies and caring dimensions related with the empowerment to physical, emotional and social self-care, promoting autonomy, independence and life quality in death process.
