- Abstract
The article looks at an association of conduction velocity in axons with immediately preceding activity. It examines the activity in both central and peripheral myelinated axons. It demonstrates a different form of activity dependence of C-fibres. In addition, the article discusses the biophysical mechanism responsible for the slowdown of conduction.
