- Abstract
Studies the effect of high-dose, intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) in severe childhood asthma in children and adolescents suffering from severe bronchial asthma. Failure of treatment with IVIG in asthmatic children to show any significant reduction in the incidence of upper respiratory tract infections; Less protracted infections in patients who received IVIG; Absence of effect of treatment on severity and bronchial hyperreactivity.
