The article presents information on the academic freedom which is defined as the freedom pursued by the scholars that lead to truth without any fear. It informs that currently there a lot of literature that defines the issue of academic freedom specific to athletic training education programs. It further informs that academic freedom acts as a catalyst for the higher education.
