- Title
Palliative care in hospice and hospital: time to put the spotlight on neglected areas of research.
- Authors
Grande, G.
- Abstract
The author reflects on the palliative care in hospice and in the hospital. The author states that enabling end-of-life care and death to take place at home should therefore help fulfil patient choice and, in theory, simplify a better quality of death. The author comments that their assumption that hospices are centres of excellence does not mean that we should not assess their care and aim to improve it.
