- Title
Toxicogenomics for transcription factor-governed molecular pathways: moving on to roles beyond classification and prediction.

- Abstract
The authors reflect on a study by P. Jennings and colleagues on toxigenomics for transcription factor-governed molecular pathways. They explain that the biological pathway has become the primary focus in understanding the consequences of treating cells or tissues with chemicals, more than their toxic outcomes. The authors think that transcription factor-governed pathways can shed light on the risks of chemical exposures and also uncover the dynamics of normal biological signaling networks.
