- Abstract
The article offers information on a study related to effect of gelatin β-tricalcium phosphate sponge with bone morphogenic protein-2, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) on articular cartilage defect in horses. It states that a hole was drilled in femoral condyles of horses. It mentions that subchondral bone density was high in those who received the treatment. It highlights that Bβ-tricalcium phosphate sponge with MSC and PRP can help to improve joint healing.
