- Abstract
Examines whether staurosporine and anti-Fas/CD95 antibody induces caspase activation in the HT-22 murine hippocampal cell line. Role of Fas/CD95 in inducing delayed neuronal cell death following acute ischaemic CNS insults; Use of flow cyclometry and confocal microscopy; Susceptibility of HT-22 cells to Fas-induced apoptosis; Author's conclusion that the H-22 represent a useful cell system to examine neuronal ischaemic apoptosis.
