- Authors
Lee, Paul L.
- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System's source-of-strength doctrine, which is found in Section 3(c)(2) of America's Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, and its application to the financial regulatory rules established by the nation's Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The impact of the Global Financial Crisis of the early 21st century on the U.S. government's regulation of the financial services industry is also examined.
