- Abstract
The article analyzes the impact of labor laws and workplace surveillance on workforce across U.S. states due to the rise of remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic and argues for better worker protections. Topics discussed include COVID-19 sick and vaccine leave laws, technological surveillance of employees post-COVID, detrimental workplace trends that will affect future workplace environments, and effect of workplace policies exacerbated by the pandemic on labor rights and bargaining.
