- Abstract
This essay presents five pleasure verses which exemplify Midwestern erotic aesthetics and transforms (Black) African American girlhood through practice as Black feminist praxis. Topics covered include sensual aspects of working, thinking, being together, creating, organizing with Black girls as homegirling, perception of hip hop musical artist Klevah as a bad gal heartbreaker with her song "GUDLUVA.TRIPPIN," and hip-hop production by the band, We Levitate.
