Examines the feasibility of freeze-fracturing single isolated renal tubules. Desirability of combining the advantages of both the physiologic and morphologic approaches and attempted freeze-fracturing renal tubules micro-dissected from rabbit kidney; Infiltration of the pellets of glutaraldehyde-fixed tubules with a solution of glycerol; Use of collagenase-treated tubules for the measurement of ion fluxes or hormone-stimulated adenylate cyclase.
