- Abstract
The article details an investigation on the influence of supercritical water (SCW) on the hydroconversion of Tahe residue, published on March 24, 2010 in wileyonlinelibrary.com. The extent of hyrdrogen exchange between water and the liquid product was determined by the isotopic tracer method. The study found that increase in hydrogen pressure results to decrease in the degree of hydrogen exchange of the liquid product with water. It concludes that SCW benefits hydroconversion of Tahe residue because it reduces coke formation.
