- Abstract
The article presents the discussion on health inequities avoidable differences in health status arising from unequal distribution of finances, power, and resources. Topics include disadvantaged populations, Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) suffering a greater burden of sleep health disparities; and disparities in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) recognition, diagnosis, and treatment being identified by race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status (SES).
