- Abstract
The article presents the author's views on the foreign policy priorities of China. Since the Opium War of 1840, China has been able to put economics first and security second in its foreign policy priorities. According to the author, research and development on advanced weapons systems should continue and the improvement of foreign relations with all the neighboring powers should mandatory.
