- Abstract
Plentiful works have been authored dealing with dergahs (dervish convents) in Istanbul. One of these is Hânkâh-nâme which has remained in obscurity since now and no information has been found on accessible sources regarding this work. Lutfî (dd.?) has written his work modeling it on Mü'min-zâde Ahmed Hasîb's (dd. 1166/1752 A.D.) Dergeh-nâme. The work comprising an introduction describing the purpose of the work, four chapters and dates section written in verse in the form of hâtime (ending), has 152 couplets. In our study, a literary treatise was done on Hânkâh-nâme, the transcription of which we prepared; a cross index of the names of tekkes (dervish lodges) in the work was formed taking into account those in Hasîb's Dergeh-nâme and locations of such tekkes in Istanbul were identified.
