- Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the effect of herbicides on the three developmental stages of smooth cordgrass. It mentions that large smooth cordgrass plants tolerate herbicides which makes herbicide an efficient and economic option for controlling weeds in smooth cordgrass production ponds. It cites that smooth cordgrass seedlings were controlled with clethodim, glyphosate, and glufosinate which indicates that chemical control of genetic off-types in smooth cordgrass is possible.
