- Abstract
The article discusses issues related to arterial ulcer. It states that the most common cause of arterial ulceration in adults is atheroscleros, particularly those with history of smoking while in younger people is the premature onset of atherosclerosis or thromboangitis obliterans. The risk factors for developing arterial disease include heavy smoking, hypertension, diabetes, and Buerger's disease. Some of its indications are pain, palpation of pulses, and skin temperature.
