- Title
China killing Tibet's rivers, people's livelihood.
- Abstract
The article reports on the implications of China's move to relocate Tibetan nomads from mountain pastures. According to Canadian filmmaker Michael Buckley, who has made documentary on China's damming of Tibet's major rivers, the relocation of Tibetan nomads from mountain pastures has nothing to do with improving the environment or people's livelihood. He mentions that China is taking the land of nomads to make way of hydro energy projects and mining investments.
