- Abstract
The article presents the case study of the 52-year-old female patient, who is assessed for knee replacement, who had myeloproliferative neoplasm, who suffered from thrombocytosis and who underwent bone biopsy in another institution in the U.S. in 2013. The topics discussed include the results of her CALR mutation analysis, the stoppage of her treatment of hydroxyurea due to intolerable side-effects, and the gradual development of anemia.
