- Title
A month in the life of the NSF for long-term conditions: January.
- Authors
Hassall, Mandy
- Abstract
The article covers issues related to the National Service Framework (NSF) in Great Britain as of February 2009. The author expresses his concern over the merger of different parts of the country with the NSF for long-term medical conditions. On January 20, the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) was established as a result of recommendations of the 2005 Bichard Inquiry. There will be no changes to the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks in light of the new registration and barring process of the ISA.
